Founded in 1935 by Marvin and Ted Mann, Mann Theatres has been a family-owned business for nearly a century. In 1970, Marvin expanded the company by acquiring the Highland and Grandview theaters in St. Paul. His sons, Stephen and Benjie Mann, joined the business in the early 1970s and became partners after years of working alongside their father.
In 1994, Marvin passed away shortly before the opening of the Eagan location, which was dedicated in his honor. Today, the tradition continues into its third generation, with Michael and Michelle Mann now partnering with their father, Stephen Mann, to lead the company forward.
Mann Theatres currently operates eight locations across Minnesota. All locations are fully digital, with several offering digital 3D and our XDX auditoriums featuring Dolby Atmos sound at Plymouth Grand 15 and Champlin 14.
With countless choices for movie going, thank you for choosing Mann Theatres. It’s our privilege to serve you and your family, and we look forward to sharing the magic of movies together for years to come.
